Jersey Eye - have been here for few months now, but i just visited it recently. During the day time i took a ride, but it was cloudy and didn't take any nice photos. Came in the evening and shoot with long exposure time, but it was so certain and well-known, that i tried with some zooming, and it comes out quite nice, actually i have that photo printed out.

Day after Battle of Flowers there is Moonlight Parade, similar to proper Battle of Flowers but with decreased numbers of participants, and all the platforms are lit, as the parade is held at night time, finished by fireworks show, which was weakes one for decades i've heard.

Jersey's largest event - Battle of Flower, i came there a bit late, so there is not so many shoots from there, nothing decent though. As usuall a lot of people from britain turned up, it was wery crowdy there. At least i didn't paid for the ticket.

Tonight i went to the new club Varda, nice looking one, but... its a gay club :/ Try imagine me seeing two guys kissing. Definitelly will not go there, especially when will be packed and crowdy :/

Pure nightclub

Nothing happening tonight... polish dj in Liquid but actually nobody turned up. I like friday's on sundays because of music and atmosphere, guy playing sax and drums, with nice house music its great mix! And havana, there was big que tonight, packed inside, R&B room was nice but not for me, i prefer the other one, with dj Biko! great music, great lighting, great atmosphere!

And friday again, Peter with me tonight, i have done round around town but nothing special really, fridays had some special performance, but that wasn't interesting at all. then moved to drift, meet Peter, and went to Pure, from now on a rock nite wil be held on pure 1st and 2nd floor. Not my taste though.

Yesterday there was one year anniversary of the Drift nightclub opening. It wasn't busy, and it wasn't interesting either, some crappy band playing live. I was very upset that night, and not because i had to be there.

And finally fisrt sunday after holiday, i missed that place a little bit, or rather that last-half-hour atmosphere. definitelly more people in town now, que is getting longer and longer, thanks to summer holidays time.



Does anyone know hebraic?

We were two on friday, or actually should be, because i didn't feel good and stayed home. On saturday i have been to watersplash. Music was weird, a mixture of different styles, but was allright. Quite many people there, as usual, when i arrived i thought "no fog, poor lighting... will be unattractive background", minutes after when the fog mashine was blowing fog on me i though completly different, i couldnt see anything in half of meter for few seconds, and that happend from time to time, but patience was the key, some decent ones.

Ok, just returned from my 3 weeks holidays, my life has changed a lot, and i will have to change many things now.

Its time to do it. Go creative. Im on progress now.

Rainy sunday, cold, wet, so i'm not surprised that was lazy day for many, including me. Forth coming 2 weeks will be a kind of rush, before i go for holiday. Seems to be so busy i will have no time to sleep to much! (at least at home) work, shopping, trainings, sessions, meetings, will have no time for pure lazyness.

I enjoyed tonight's stay at havana, definitely good atmosphere, nice people, great music, i have asked Biko for some CD with those sets, will be nice to hear it again.

But beware, new dj is rising ...

Raining and cold, that was the reason why town was so empty tonight, even watersplash wasn't so great, but there was so hot, many guys without any shirt, very loud as usual, but there are just few color lights around, they definitely need some proper lighting, also laser or two would be great!


What's up?!

I think i'm working to much, need more time for myself during the weekend, maybe i will get nex weekend off, sometimes need to purely enjoy. Also my holidays have been agreed, so i will be away from 1 till 22 of june. Nice.

Have been to drift and fridays after prom, not so many photos, but quite nice people.

However, i couldn't resist :]

This week weather is playing, sunny days becoming rainy evenings.

Hautlieu school prom night on friday, nice atmosphere as they were young people and they know wat's the fun!

On wednesday there was fassion show to raise some money for breast cancer research.

Sunday is great, you can go to the beach, have few beers, enjoy and relax, and in the evening you can enjoy great tunes all over the place, nice house music with sax in fridays, and havana, which is not very attractive as a place, is filled up with great Biko's tunes! Nice people too! Love you all girls!

That was hard night for me, photos are not brilliant as i was'nt.

Finally there was few people in BBar, so i could go there for first time.

They have got 4 things looks like beds? lol, it's nice to have bed in bar, is'nt it?

I was really tired to go out tonight, but i was only on my own, anyway, found this night very positive. I meet many long time haven't seen friends, and arranged some good meetings.


Hold on for tommorow, summer is here!

Today is liberation day, a bank holiday, and also today we had hill climb in the bouley bay.
Weather cloudy but not raining, and that was enough to get some decent photos. Good exposure times, even by ISO 100, but because of the reflections on the front window sometimes used polariser, and iso goes up to 800. All sort of viechicles, from go karts to motobikes.

I have got nearly 350 photos from that night, that is definitely good bank holiday!
Dont know what happend to Phill but he did not turned up, so i was on my own. In fact, i had no time for pure and drift lately, but doesn't really matter, anyway, i had a lot of fun.
In Watersplah massive party, i felt sick in my stomach when i was passing main speakers there, hot atmosphere and a lot of crazy people. Fridays was also packed, but rest of the bars was nearly empty. Havana was ok, as usual on sunday is busy, tonight que was looonger.

There will be good party at watersplash tommorow (today actually), cant wait for that one, cos i like that club very much, its big and looks like proper club, not like pub with dancefloor. Town was busy, tommorow should be the same. Tonight gomes and Phill were taking photos as well, so i have been to fridays, and after went to club 72, and really enjoyed jazzy big band! then pure and drift... yes, drift, Phill got drunk... felt in love, and just wonder what will happend tommorow... busted.

Today is friday, and if you know, next week will be special because of 2 bank holidays.
That means next weekend will be massive. Also weather should be great. Tonight tried Bbar for first time, but it was so empty, everyone been to chamber or drift that time. Checked Club 72, but there was some big band jazzy thing (actually they played nice) but that wasnt to good time to taking photos. Fridays was so so, just looked outside club lounge, no one but security. Stayed in drift for most of time then, checked pure, but also dissapointing this time, usually there is something on the 1st and 2nd floor, but not even that night.

For some period now, i will hang around with 10-22 for some funny photos like that

Tonight i used 10-22 lens, maybe quality is not the same like L series, but gives more fun and perspectives for different shoots. As it is sunday i went to fridays and havana, in first one, quite a lot of people, every weekend now getting more and more. In havana Martin purchased nice green laser, which gives nice mood for that not to atractive place. Biko played nice tunes as every weekend, and as always finishing is superb, crowd is rising, because finishing tune is a cracking one, that is the rising moment when everything should actually start, not end.

I am so tired tonigt, so note will be very short. Started from 7 in Hotel De France, then been in few other places and finished in Pure nightclub, Summer is definitelly very close, night is nicelly warm tonight. A lot of people around then.

Last week of april apears to be good one. First at all, im off on saturday from shop floor, so can finally rest after this fridays night, which was quite busy, specially because you can actually smell summer in the air, you can breath with warm air, that is that feeling you know that crazy summer time is comming soon...
Started around 11 at fridays, felt a little bit tired, but had few red bulls and was alright. In fridays more people than average, i can remember now previous summer, will be dificult to go trought, especially with camera. Actually have not been to st james and club lounge, seen few people outside, but thought it is not worth it...so went to drift, meet Peter, had drink with David and stayed there for about an hour then moved to pure. Nice DnB tracks played on the ground floor, but no too many people. Upstairs as usuall some freaky and weird rock nite.

And finally we have sunday, nothing but fridays and havana. Somebody told me to try club 72 on sunday, because of some polish night, so i went there, found about 10 people inside, heard disco polo music and quickly dissapeard... never coming back there on sunday then.
Fridays rather empty, havana also wasn't very packed, but i believe that drunkness level that night was much higer than average... on both sides of the bar.

Finally reached home after that freaky night! Can't say was bored, i sweat a all the time!


Began quiet, went to boat house, took few shoots, peeps inside did not really wanted, after charity event at jersey bowl, and get back to town, start in Club 72. nothing special, guy singing Robbie's Williams songs. After moved to the Fridays and Drift, as i was expecting, full of people, loong que outside. That was very special night cos Gomes was taking pictures, which is very unusual. Finally he experienced what we usually get. Also, Peter is in trouble? lol :D


Shooting in the drift is an neverending story, but after 2 hours there tired went to PURE for less than hour, to finish off the job. But again, full of people, some nice dj, thy prepared special sound system for that occasion, whilst inside i thought i will be def after that. As mentioned some time ago, love that blue laser...

Cold and raining this friday, dont really have time to writing about, but generally was bit quiet except Drift, thats normal on that day of the weekend. Hovewer, apart of that your jerseyvip photographers finally had chance to use their cameras not in the clubs, and not at home either... yes yes, because of few nice sunny days during the week had some leisure trips and took some photos... but haven't time to look on them yet... if any good wil post them here, and for now selected snap from friday.

second week of april

Today managed to get internet connection. Weekend quite easy, however, i have not been out on sunday, it's mean no photos from havana i'm affraid.
Also there was five-a-side soccer competition and jersey horse racing.
Looking forward for big events in watersplash.
By the way, Sandra dont want to create blog, so i have to catch up with everything.
Changes - form this week PURE nightclub is in posession of blue laser, which looks great.

Beginning of april

This week we lost it... we lost one hour of fun, as with the beggining of spring clock goes forward by one hour, you lost one hour of clubbing, i lost few pounds ;]
Somebody send email to Gomes, asking if they can have photographer at Watersplash that night, they send it after 6, when he went to work, and recieved it about 1 after midnight, but in fact it was 2 already... shame, i do like that place, i wanted go there.

Apart of that, weekend seems to be quiet, drift as usuall was full, and other places was bit disapointing.

Anyway, 10 points for person who recognize HIM :D

As you know we have bank holiday today on monday, on sunday there was greeat party on waterspash, check out our photos if you have been there! Many people in town, those who did not get a ticket for watersplash went to drift, fridays all sports or havana... I hope you enjoyed that night as i did.

Yesterday sunset was nice, similar like couple previous days, took this pic, merged into hdr to give better result. Inspired by Olivier Doran's exhibition in harbour gallery yesterday.

Yesterday (sat ) went to watersplash for the first time. Luckilly managed to enter, thanks to te guy who was near the door and xplained to doormans! Lucky me he was there.
Now i know that jersey has a real club, its not a bar with dancefloor, its just a club with bars around. Also high ceiling allow to use some propper lighting there.

Summary... weekend bit weird, fridays dead, well, actually got 250 photos, but sat was busy, suprisingly busy, long time haven't seen so many people out. For most of them sat is end of weekend high life, for me and few others is the sunday, havana. To be honest, i love last 30 minutes, the atmosphere is amazing, the mood and the music... Hard to chose pic of week... a lot of portraits... so nothing special, but basically that what is for sale... BUT ...

And another sunday is gone.
Getting confused now, used to have pleasure with photography, but im geting sick of these people, in fact 90% of them is ok, everyone is more or less drunk, but there is maybe 10% which piss me totally off, rude, agressive and stupid...if i met one of them iam upset for rest of the night. Btw, jersey it small, so almost everytine you can se the same faces, specially during the winter time.
This sunday was like any other sunday, been to fridays and havana only, nothing special.
However, there are still great people there!

Long time since last entry, but i was quite busy, and the blog is nothing that important...hovewer now almost everything is sorted out. Nice music all around, specially liked dnb nigt at club:lounge, class. Last weekend was quiet, nothing special, actuall one is much better, specially saturday. Apart from burning warehouse close to two popular nightclubs the show at eden nighclub was also interesting ...

Was bit hard, but gone quick. Such a good period for me... changing for good.
I went to PURE nightclub and there was DnB night. And it was awesome. I like it, so enjoyed very much. Also had great pictures taken there. Hard to choose one, but i thik that will do.

Christmas is comming, a lot of work, everywhere.
Really like the new camera, 14 over 12 bit's really does difference on forehead's highlights and generally on skin tones.
In club lounge was nice atmosphere, you can fly away. In some other places some 2 drunk wnkrz and that is really pain, no pleasure from work, and they making it even harder :/

Christmas coming, is getting busy everywhere, and some people have to work for people who want to have parties
In town there is nice mood, except cold :/ however, i really miss snow in this time which is integrated part of christmas for me.
Did i mentioned i got 40d now? ;) That was present for my self, as well as a new car...
during the weekend i took about 300 pics everyday, but as usuall sales are very poor.
